Hoops, Circus Tents and Home-Schooling with Emma Pixie Barrett

The ‘Fastest Interview in the West’ is 3 megawatt questions, designed to get you thinking and feeling without being too heavy on the text. Enjoy!

If you could put one message on a giant billboard in every city / town in your home country, what would it be?

EPB: “The important thing is to never stop questioning. Always maintain a healthy curiosity.” -Einstein

What is the main difference between you on the inside, and the ‘you’ that we see?

EPB: Apart from my epidermis? Ummm… I really do care what people think of me and what I do. It can be hard to choose to live in ways that don’t follow generic societal patterns, because of the lack of understanding and acceptance I often receive. Humans are social creatures, we all crave community. So whilst my behaviour and lifestyle choices may seem bold and audacious, they are choices made with a dark understanding of what it means to step away from my herd.

When it’s all going tits-up, what do you say to yourself to get back out there and keep going?

EPB: All life is learning. I am grateful for receiving these lessons.
